What is Sitefar?
Sitefar is a dashboard for managing many self-hosted WordPress sites in one place. It shows what's installed on each site, which plugins, themes and WordPress versions are out of date, and lets you review and apply updates together.
Which WordPress sites does it work with?
Self-hosted WordPress 6.0+ sites on HTTPS. You install Sitefar's small connector plugin on each site and connect it with a WordPress application password, so Sitefar never sees your main login.
Can I undo an update that breaks something?
Yes. Sitefar keeps the previous version of each plugin or theme it updates, so you can roll it back. It also shows each site's backup status before you update, and can start a backup through UpdraftPlus.
Which AI assistants can I connect?
Any assistant that supports MCP, including Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. You choose what it may do (read, update, delete, WordPress core) and which sites it can touch, and you can pause every assistant with one switch.
Where do the traffic and search reports come from?
From Google Site Kit on your WordPress sites. Sitefar reads its Google Analytics and Search Console data, so you see it without opening each site.
Are my WordPress credentials safe?
Application passwords stay on the server, encrypted, and are never sent back to the browser. You can disconnect a site at any time and revoke its application password in WordPress.
